A few days after Jan 1, Y2K, a friend emailed me that one of the pages
I had recently updated showed the "Last Updated" date as the year 1900.
When I checked it, the bug appears in IE, but everything worked under Netscape.
After further checking, I discovered that Netscape 4.51, and IE 4.0, will show
the bug. Newer versions of Netscape (4.61, and 4.7) work correctly, as does
IE 5.0.
I'm a programmer, and so far, this is the worst Y2K type of bug I've had to deal with.
And, as you can see, I'm dealing with it by pointing it out, not by
changing anything. :^)
I would be interested in knowing what other browsers, and different versions,
show. Feel free to email me about it. This is the date the script reports.
I'd gladly post the javascript here in text form, but it wants to execute
instead of show the text. I can email it to anyone interested. If you know
how to make it post the text, I'll put it on the webpage.
If you are using an older browser, you should probably update to a current version.
