Sharky's has new owners, and they would like to invite everyone down on Sunday Nov 1st to watch the Cowboys play the Seahawks. Free Buffet, meet the owners, enjoy the game! Kickoff is at 12:00 noon.

Right now, even as I type, they are painting, replacing carpet, tearing out stuff to put new stuff in. I have no idea what the place will look like in a month, but trust me, it's going to be vastly different than it was before. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see it!

October 24th, Sharky's Monthly Tournament.

Bar adds $10 per player up to $300. This is one week later than our normal monthly tournament (usually the 3rd Sat each month.) We're delaying it a week due to The Circuit's end of season event.

October 30th, 2009, Halloween Party!

On Friday the 30th, Sharky's will hold a Halloween Party. We'll have our regular dart tournament, and hold a costume contest.

Dart Tournaments

Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 8:30 pm start unless something special is scheduled. You must be 21 or older to be in the dart tournament.

Sharky's Monthly Tournament

Sharky's adds money to every tournament. On the 3rd Saturday each month, the add in is larger, $10 per player up to $300. All players are welcome (age 21+). Modified blind draw. $10 total entry. 8:30 PM start time.

Who Are We?

Sharky's is a combination dart pub and pool hall. Sharky's is probably best known as a place to play darts. We have been open for over 28 years here in Dallas.

Sharky's hosts steel tip dart tournaments every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. These are modified blind draw tournaments (women do not draw women) using The Dartabase to draw partners. Double elimination format. The winners bracket games are 501/Cricket/Bulls Choice. Losers bracket is normally one game of bulls choice, but may be two-out-of-three if it is a small tournament.

All are house-added pots.

Sharky's has nine dart boards in the main dart area. There are two boards in another area which are not normally used, but can be used as warm-up boards when we have a really large tournament.

During the league season, Sharky's hosts DDA and DDD league teams on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and DDA mixed doubles teams on Thursdays.

During the summer, we sometimes host a Dart Thang on Tuesday nights. Stats and info can be found here. It was originally designed for newer players, and it's been a lot of fun. The exact format may change from time to time, as I look for more ways to make players happy. Currently, not in use.

What else goes on at Sharky's? We have 12 pool tables, a ping pong table, and several game machines, including 2009 Golden Tee Live and Silver Strike Bowling 2009. The big screens at Sharky's are usually tuned to football, hockey, baseball, or basketball. (several smaller TV's, too!) We also have more jugglers per capita than any other bar in Dallas!
