Stephen's Delphi Page

I program in Delphi both at work and for myself. These are the places I'm most likely to go when looking for Delphi components, ideas, information, or tools. Don't forget, if you're trying to find the answer to a question, Deja-News is a great way to search usenet posts. (Available from my Search Page.)

In addition to what you find here, Delphi programmers may be interested in some of the items on my Download Page. In particular, there are two collections of Glyphs which can be downloaded, which work very well in Delphi speedbuttons.

* The Borland/Inprise Delphi Support page has a Delphi FAQ, patches to download, and more.
* Delhi@Elists.org is a Delphi programming email list sponsored by kyler.com.
* LearnDelphi is an online class designed to teach Delphi to beginners. No programming background is required. The first few lessons are about filenames, directory structures, and how to use .ZIP files. That should show that it is designed for first time programmers. I think Eric Engler has done a very good job with this.
* The Delphi Deli.This was a top-notch Delphi site at one time, but it's essentially down now, with a page linking to other sites. I'm not sure if this is temporary, or permanant.
* The Delphi Pages is quickly becoming my favorite Delphi site.
* WWW.Delphi32.Com - Your Delphi Resource Center.
* Richey's Delphi-Box. is one of the better Delphi sites. If you haven't already been there, do it now!
* The Unofficial Newsletter of Delphi Users. Better known as UNDU is a resource any Delphi programmer has to know about. Lots of tips, tricks, and code-snippets.
* Jounlai's 3K Delphi tips is a searchable index of Delphi tips. Not all tips are on his site, but the search engine knows where to look. Quite useful.
* CodeBake.com CodeBake.com is a developers site containing articles, news and links for Kylix, Delphi and Linux.
* The Delphi Super Page.
* The Delphi Source.
* Delphi Developer's Journal Home Page.
* Brad Stowers Delphi Free Stuff. Brad has a number of freeware components for download, info on Delphi 4, and more.
* ICS and Midware are TCP/IP component sets written by Fancois Piette. Postcard-ware, supported via mailing list. I use these for most TCP/IP related programming.
* RXLib is one of the most popular code collections available for Delphi, and it's freeware.
* Delphi Central has articles, tutoriels, tips and tricks, all to aid the Delphi programmer.
* Advanced Delphi Systems Delphi Code Library has a number of routines ready for your use.
* Software Preview makes and supports tools for Delphi programers on their site. They have a very nice tips and tricks section.
* The Unoffical Delphi Developers FAQ.
* Mike Marsden's Borland Delphi links.
* 3D - Dallas Delphi Developers. This is the local Dallas users group.
* SWYNK.COM bills themselves as "The most comprehensive BackOffice resource in the world!". Lots of good information. They run several mailing lists - one is MS-SQL specific, which is often useful for Delphi programmers.
