Since I live in Dallas, I will probably end up with more Dallas links than Ft Worth links here. I'm simply more likely to come across them. Feel free to email me if you have links you believe I should add.


* Dallas/Ft.Worth Area Web.
* The DFW WebRing promotes the attractions, businesses and the people of the DFW area. Or their websites, anyway!
* TalkDallas is a web based, Dallas area discussion forum.
* The DFWmenu.com website is ideal for finding restaurants in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
* Dallas.Sidewalk has information about movies, concerts, restaurants, and other events in Dallas.
* Dallas City Hall is the cities official website.
* Grand Prairie Convention and Visitors Bureau. This is one of the better DFW sites around. It's a good place to start looking - and you may not have to look any farther.
* Town of Addison website.
* Yahoo Dallas/Ft.Worth Info.
* WebFeats D/FW ISP list.
* The Dallas Morning News.
* ArlingtonNow is put out by the Arlington Morning News.
* The Ft. Worth Star-Telegram.
* The Dallas Observer.
* The Texas State Fair runs from late September to mid October, and it's always fun!
* The Dallas Guide is an online arts and entertainment guide for the DFW area.
* The Dallas Public Library.
* The Dallas Zoo home page.
* The Science Place is fun to visit, no matter your age. It's sort of a hands-on science museum, and if you haven't visited, I recommend you plan a trip.
* The Dallas Museum of Natural History.
* The Dallas Symphony Orchestra.website.
* The Dallas Museum of Art is commonly known as the DMA. The website isn't as fun as visiting, but you can find out about their current exhibits.
* Texas Parks and Wildlife DFW area page has info on parks within 100 miles of DFW.
* The Mesquite Rodeo. PRCA rodeo, every Friday and Saturday, April through September (roughly).
* Bass Performance Hall. Ft Worth's top notch theatre. Bass was given great reviews when it opened, with good reason. You can use their web page to check out their schedule, and buy tickets.
* The Kimbell Art Museum in Ft. Worth.
* Sandy Lake Park is located in the Carrollton area. They have a large swimming area, amusement rides, and good picnic areas. Good for a family day trip, a company picnic, or family reunions.
* Tx. Department of Transportation.. This is the Texas DOT homepage. They have a nice site, but the most useful piece for me seems to be the road conditions section.
* Young Country Radio. KYNG - 105.3 FM
* Scarborough Faire is held in Waxahachie. It's about a 30 minute drive south of Dallas or Ft. Worth.
* Texas Renaissance Festival. A large ren faire, held a bit north of Houston, in Plantersville.
* The Scribe is a ren-faire oriented web site, which evolved from The Scribe BBS. If you are looking for information about a faire, this is a good place to check.
* Metro Tickets buys and sells tickets for most major sporting events and concerts in the Dallas area. They also carry tickets for many national events. For cowboys tickets, see their alternate page.
* 75% Off Books has stores in Dallas, Plano, and North Richland Hills. They carry new books, and all are at least 75% off. The charge a maximum of $5.00 per book, which means you can get some incredibly good deals on computer books!
* Dallas Juggling Association website gives meeting locations and times for the local juggling club.
* Dallas Trails. Hike, bike, and inline skate trails in Dallas, focusing on the White Rock Lake and White Rock Creek trails.
* Dallas Urban Skater is a site for people who enjoy inline skating in the Dallas area.
* Recumbent Bike Enthusiasts of North Texas is a club for bicycle riders who use those funny-looking sit-down bikes.
* Dallas Footbag Club. Is Hackeysack your gig? If so, you'll want to hook up with the Dallas Footbag Club.
* SharkyDarts.com. Sharky's has been a dart pub for over 20 years, located on Upper Greenville in Dallas.
* The Texas Country Reporter. Bob Phillips writes about life in rural Texas. Their calender lists events in smaller towns and rural areas.
* TravelTex.com. The online Texas Tour Guide.
* Texas Monthly. The online version of the magazine has articles about Texas, calenders about Texas events, and more. And it's all about Texas...
* DFW.* Newsgroup Information. Information about newsgroups in the DFW.* hierarchy. You can read the charters, or learn how to create a new DFW newsgroup.
* Dallas View has lots of pictures of the Dallas area.
* The DFW Mall has links to hundreds of DFW businesses and homepages.
* Dallas View has lots of pictures taken around Dallas, categorized and ready to view. This is a very nice site.
* Texas Flea Markets. If you're looking for a flea market in Texas, this is the place.
* DFW TV Stations. Info on all the TV stations in the DFW area, with links to their websites for those that have them.
* The North Texas Food Bank helps distribute food to organizations which help the needy in the Dallas area.
* The Tarrant Area Food Bank helps distribute food to organizations which help the needy in the Tarrant Count area. (ie, Ft. Worth.)
